1. Access Kent Library’s online databases by visiting library.semo.edu; then clicking on Articles & Databases.
2. I recommend you select one of the general academic databases listed on the right-hand side of the page. They are: Academic Search Complete (EBSCOhost), Omnifile Full Text, and ProQuest Central.
3. Select one of these databases and using the search feature, type in “your topic” (do not use the quotation marks). You will also find it useful to limit your search by selecting the “Full Text” option. By checking this option your search will only find complete articles and not just abstracts.
4. Once your articles display, scroll through and find one that looks interesting.
