The aim of the study is investigate how training and development programs influences employee job satisfaction in the public sector organization of Sultanate of Oman.

Background and Purpose
It is identified that training occupies a significant position in human resource development. It is considered to be very significant for both the employees and the organization as it improves the performance of the system as whole (Rajasekar & Khan 2013). There are many challenges in the context of training and development. The organizations have to deal with several issues related to management such as poor organizational structure and culture, lack of fund, regulatory framework. These challenges could prevent the organization from providing the required training and development programs. The proposed study will help to know how the government companies in Oman implement training and development programs to increase efficiency and satisfaction of employees.
Plan Of Work
The proposed study will be conducted following certain techniques. The introductory section of the study presents the variables that require significant attention. Likewise, literature review helps to analyze the existing papers on the current topic. Thereafter, proposed methodology will be discussed in the next chapter. Based on the objectives, the study goes forward with the data interpretation and analysis. Eventually, based on the findings, recommendation will be provided.
In order to answer the research questions, the study will be conducted considering the factual data related to employee training and development programs and its impact on government organization. The positivism research philosophy will be selected as it helps to conduct the research with empirical data. Likewise, the descriptive research design will be selected as research is based on the existing theory. The study does not form any new theory. As the topic includes two broad variables, primary analysis will be conducted to meet the objective of the study. To collect the primary data, both survey and interview will be conducted among the employees of government organization in Oman.
In order to keep the study safe from unethical grounds, the analysis will not be biased towards any context. The data, which will be collected for the study will not be used in any other purpose but academic.
