The Russian-Ukraine war states the armed conflict in the region and it has backed the forces within the Ukraine military. Hence, the picture says it all and the war is an ongoing process that initially focused upon the status of Crimea and the other parts of the world. The picture inserted focuses upon the Russian-Ukraine war with strong highlights. It states that Moscow has agreed in establishing a humanitarian corridor.
Figure: Russia-Ukraine War
According to Kuzio (2018), the Ukraine soldier walks next to the campfire at a frontline in the northeast of Kyiv in 2022. The Russian-Ukraine crisis states that a bombardment has continued to witness increased isolation on the world stage. Through the picture, I can answer several of the questions that will help the readers and myself understand that the Russian troops have seized Ukraine, a strategically important city. The UN rights office has stated that 227 civilians have been killed and 525 have been injured in Ukraine.
Human rights are considered applicable, and in armed conflicts, IHL happens to be applicable (Sheather, 2022). Thus, I can state that human rights in an armed conflict of the states lay down an obligation, and in certain ways, it enhances to refrain the certain acts for promotion and protection. Apart from that, Stukalo & Simakhova (2018) has voiced that the government and other bodies have the right in stopping human rights violations.
Thus, I have generalized that human right defender seeks the entire promotion for protecting civil rights. On the other hand, the role of the government in protecting human rights addresses the primary responsibility in protecting and promoting human rights with the national governments. Therefore, I can state that promoting all human rights cultures within the local public services also plays a vital role in respecting and promoting human rights. In order to protect human rights, the role played by government and leaders enhances to follow up a classical tripartite typology. It tends to maintain the respect, duty of protect, and duty in fulfilling the end needs of the citizens.
UDHR, ICCPR and ICECSR
On the other hand, UDHR states to the Universal declaration of Human Rights and ICCPR mainly focuses upon the issues of the right to life and religion, and voting. Thus, ICCPR and ICESCR are quite different from the normative declaration and the statement of guidance is quite different from guidance (Foster, 2021). According to the observance of people, ICCPR and ICECSR happen to be a legally binding instruments on the basis of all principles of sunt servanda, and pacta. It mainly confers the obligation on the parties as it arises from the treaty.
Furthermore, the human rights and the international criminal court guarantees human right violation as well. It enhanced in making the armed conflicts more political rather than violent. I believe that human rights in the context of international law enhance economic and social development. Therefore, the International Criminal Court and International court of Justice is considered to be quite enough for preventing catastrophic abuses of human rights in a war. It depicts that the main purpose is to investigate as well as prosecute the war criminals. It is quite effective and it has resulted in a complete proceeding with evicted management in the long run.
