The purpose of this individual assignment is to develop your skills in analysing the Hospitality and Tourism system and its importance to destinations. This will enable you to understand the different types of business activities that shape destination’s Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
Your task is to create a promotional brochure for a destination of your choice. In preparing this brochure you must identify the key components of the destination and consider the implications of the ‘amalgam’ concept. Your one-page brochure must include the following points:
1.Byron bay is a paradise in New South Wales which has popular attractions like beaches, nightlife, national parks, reserves and regional markets which attracts national and international tourists. Come and experience the HauteBoho lifestyle in Byron Bay. The stunning natural attractions of the place will captivate your heart and soul. The vibrant environment of the place will leave you mesmerized.
2.The city is situated just off the Pacific highway which is 800 Kms. north of Sydney and 170 Kms. south of Brisbane (1) The visitors can reach the destination by air, road or rail transport facilities (4).
Amenities and Ancillary Services
The destination provides good amenities and ancillary services to the visitors of the city. The city provides services of hotels, restaurants, activities, tourist guides, and financial services (3). There is barefoot luxury at every step of the destination. It provides access to pool, beaches, clubs, Spa, walking trails, travel services, Fitness services, sports, shopping and library services for providing ease to the guests and visitors (2).
