1. Database Management Systems versus Spreadsheets

A database application could be used for selecting the desired application. One of the major points of difference between the spreadsheet applications and database is that the information stored within spreadsheets could be performed within a file system while data stored within a data is quickly accessible with some commands, which are quickly addressable.

A data warehouse could be defined as a relational database that would be designed for the purpose of querying and analysis rather than their use for the processing of transactions.

The data warehouse differs from a transactional database as it contains some historical data that would be resultant from the transactional data. It could also include data derived from other sources.

Business blogging could be defined as a marketing tactic, which makes use of blogging for the purpose of making a business and the related website to be much more visible on the online platform. A business blog could be defined as a marketing channel, which would help in supporting the growth of the business.

5. Intranet and Extranet

Intranet could be defined as a network that would be used only by employees within an organization. It could be used as a purpose of sharing the information of a company and the computing resources among their employees. The primary purpose is for facilitating the way of communication and trading within an organization and their business partners.

An extranet is a private network, which makes use of Internet technology and the system of public communication for sharing the business information with the suppliers, partners, vendors and other businesses (Chen and Kamal 2016).
