2- What health advantages do residents of wealthier neighborhoods have that are often lacking in neighborhoods like the one where Gwai lives. Why do you think these differences exist?

Place is such a good indicator of health because a place really matters when it comes to health, the environment of a place plays a major role in determining the health and wellbeing of person. The place where a live is intricately related to a person because this is the place where he lives, goes to school, and also work. The place actually determines and how and to what extent a person will be exposed to the different factors that are present in an environment. The environmental factors might consist of chemical or physical agents and it can negatively affect the health of the person that is residing in a place. The physical or the chemical agent can act as a potent causal agent of sickness, disease and this can negatively impact the growth and development along with the wellbeing of a person. From the epidemiological perspective disease casual agents affects the health of a person negatively. The type of the social environment into which a person is getting exposed also affects the health of a person. A neighbourhood that has a high incidence of crime or violence can also affect the wellbeing of a person. The type of the neighbour and the way a person will interact with them also help impact on the affect the health of a person. Also, another vital aspect is where a person lives and how well he is connected with the access to healthcare and the quality of the care he is receiving (Gattino et al., 2013).

The place where a person lives has the biggest impact on his health, wellbeing, development and growth. People that reside in the wealthier locations or neighbourhoods receive the health advantages in comparison to the ones that live in the places that lack the wealthier neighbourhoods. The locality where Gwai lives cannot be termed as a best place to live and sustain. The place has several petrochemicals that release huge amounts of pollutants and this poses a health risk for the Gwai and the other residents that are living there. In Gwai’s locality one ca easily find fast food, liquor and tobacco. Along with all these the quality of housing and the public places are not safe. Such above mentioned scenarios are not present in the wealthier neighbourhoods because such neighbourhood always are situated away from the central business districts and even though eateries are always available but the environment is far more safe and non-polluting (Hilmers, Hilmers & Dave, 2012).

Differences exist between the wealthy neighbourhoods and the unwealthy neighbourhood because wealthy places cost a fortune and such places offer quality healthcare, with quality education and proper growth environment. There are differences because the wealthy localities have the proper provision of all the facilities that are necessary for leading a luxurious life. The life of the people that live in wealthy neighbourhoods are the people that belong from the weel off sections of the society (Hilmers, Hilmers & Dave, 2012).
