I have realised how mobile computing has contributed tremendously towards the growth and success of the global business establishments by enabling them to capitalise on the wide scale usage and popularity of the smart phones. This research has played a very important role in changing my perception towards mobile computing. I have understood that mobile computing is a modern day boon but if not utilised properly and in a responsible manner it can turn into a curse as well. Security is a major roadblock that can compromise the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the mobile computing technology. It can compromise the data and information of the customers as well as the business establishments who are utilising it for their day-to-day activities.

I have understood that technology is susceptible to different kinds of risks and we need to accept the shortcomings of technology but it should never prevent us from appreciating its advantages in our present lives. There is an urgent need for the business establishments to consider the drawbacks of mobile computing and take effective measures in order to mitigate or nullify those shortcomings. This would play a very important role in enhancing the utility of mobile computing for the global business establishments. This would play a vital role in enhancing the security aspect of mobile computing and more and more companies will be willing to utilise mobile computing for the growth and success of their business.

The knowledge and understanding gained from this learning process is extremely beneficial and useful and it will help me tremendously in my future career. I have gathered a more detailed and comprehensive understanding regarding the diverse aspect of mobile computing and how mobile computing is helping Uber to transform their business operations in the global markets.  

The learning experience gathered as a result of this assignment would enable me to develop a deeper understanding regarding my subject and this would assist me to complete my course in a successful manner. During the learning process, I tried to understand the diverse aspects of mobile computing by gathering the available literature on that specific subject. Initially I did not possess such a clear concept and understanding about mobile computing but slowly in due course of time I was able to obtain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding about mobile computing which helped me to expand by boundaries of knowledge in the field of mobile computing.

In the first stage, i.e. description it is important to describe the situation. Since the main topic of discussion is the mobile computing, it is important to analyse the situation. The importance of the mobile computing is increasing day by day with the advent of new technology. The mobile computing technology is taking the help of cloud management. Most of the industries are getting benefit from mobile computing & one of the industries is the transport network industry. In this industry most of the companies are taking the help of the apps. With the help of different apps it is possible to connect with such a large network effortlessly. In case of Uber, it is operating in nearly 600 cities across the world. To operate such a large network & control the business operation it is imperative to take the help of the mobile computing. The app of Uber is very user friendly & at the same time effective in managing large number of cars at the same time. Before the conduction of the research it was not clear the way transport network industry are getting benefitted by the mobile computing. The research has been able to change the feeling. It has been noticed that the mobile computing technology has been able to bring significant changes in the lifestyle of people. In the past people used to take the help of the normal transport system & that was time consuming. The apps based mobile computing technologies are highly beneficial for every individual. Though there are various benefits associated with the mobile computing in Uber Transportation Company, there are other gaps that have to be filled to improve the satisfaction level of customers. This system is not completely safe from hackers. Various hackers steal data or information & at the same time they may also send various harmful bugs & viruses. These may affect the system & collect information about different individuals. Another important gap is that it will take time for people to adopt with the new system. It is important to make the system more customers friendly. To make drivers of every Uber car accustomed with the system, it is important to provide them proper training. Finally it can be said that the mobile computing technology has helped the transportation delivery industry. One of the evidence is the Uber Technology Inc. The Uber app has helped people across the world to avail the facility at a time & this has helped in reducing the wastage of time.

From my learning process, it is absolutely clear to me that Mobile computing is going to transform our lives in the near future. Mobile technology has wide range of utility and applications which is going to play a vital role in paving the way for even more advanced and futuristic technologies which would eventually benefit the human population. This is a future technology which will eventually play a major role in bringing forth the next quantum leap in computing technology. We need to utilise this technology in a constructive manner for the growth and prosperity of the human population as there are potential negative consequences which can arise out of the inappropriate use of mobile technology.

The business research proved very beneficial in my learning process. It helped to understand the real life business applications of mobile computing and how companies all around the globe are utilising mobile computing to their advantage. I have understood how mobile computing has enabled the business establishments to further expand their global presence by streamlining their business processes which resulted in greater business productivity.

I was able to understand how Uber Technologies has been able to successfully integrate mobile technology within their business platform and how it provided rich dividends for the organisation.

The business research proposal helped me to understand how a proper research can be carried out by a researcher. I was able to understand the diverse aspects of research and the important role played by the research methodology in ensuring successful outcomes from the research. I was able to identify and understand the gaps which existed in the literature review and how it was undermining the accuracy and reliability of the research process. I understood the importance of primary data in a research and how data collection process plays a vital role in determining the research outcomes.

The learning process has played a very important role in my own personal growth and self development process and it has made me more competent and proficient as an individual.
