Also with the help of this, cost of production can be reduced immensely. It also helps in understanding the market and gives a clear picture of what is going on with the project. It also ensures faster performance because in data models, better documentations are presented. This also helps in detecting the errors if any are present in them. It also gives an upper hand while managing with the risks involved as everything is planned beforehand. With the help of better documentation, analyst can analyze the data more efficiently which is useful for data mining.
According to me, data models are very much important before setting up of an information system as this helps in better documentation of the entire project which obviously helps the IT specialists to get the work done more efficiently and in a more precise way as with the help of data models, higher quality of work can be obtained (Hsiao, 2014). With the help of data models, they can manage the cost of the project also they can analyze the risks involves in it and eliminate it. Data models also gives a clear picture to the specialists what they are going to do which is much better than making an application without any aim. Data models are also important for the data mining process for a large amount of data that will be stored in the databases (Witten, 2016). Also this helps in understanding the market so that they can change accordingly and make the necessary changes.
