Goal of Project
It can be analysed from the given case study that 30 percent of the petrol which was not leaked has been collapsed for the reason that it was stored in the tanks which were being in use over fifty years. Hence, this case states that the oil storage tanks shall be repainted and repaired with the intention of improvement in the condition of storage tanks so that better processes could be carried out.
The undertaken project`s main goal is to do a repair of the three petrol storage tanks. The repairing of oil tanks will be done in a certain manner- filling patches, steel anchors will be fitted on top of the tanks; after this, the tanks will be cleaned and repainted (Boyer, 2017). The goal of the project is to accomplish all these tasks in a certain period i.e. 40 days and in a budget limit of 25,000 AUS $. The oil tanks will not be repaired at the same time; as the tanks will be repaired one by one. When the first tank will be repaired then it will check in terms of quality and other aspects. After the verification of the first tank, other tanks will be repaired and repainted (Brown, 2015).

Project`s Scope Statement
The functions or operations of the business are going to be affected when the project will be undertaken. Therefore project`s scope defines those boundaries of business activities or functions that will be affected all through the project is undertaken (Crowe, 2014). The scope of undertaken project is limited to the business organization`s serviceable area. Analysis of stakeholder will be done for determining the undertaken project`s scope. As the undertaken project will also put an impact on some of the stakeholders:
Assessment of stakeholders
Society: The present condition of petrol tanks state that leakage of petrol is one of the cause triggering environmental issue. Leakage of petrol cause disease as well as lead to increase in pollution level (Glover, 2015). Therefore the repair project’s scope is also related to society's welfare. As when the leakage problem will be dealt in proper manner then society will be benefitted with it. Weight age is 20 percent.
Government: Another stakeholder related with the project is the government. As a penalty of $ 20,000 per month is being played by the organization to the government. The penalty is imposed on the organization as the leakage of petrol Impacts on environment, health and safety aspects (Harrin, 2017). When the undertaken Project will succeed then the penalty i.e. currently paying to the Government will be reduced or nullified. Weight age is 30 percent.
Oil dealers in Western Australia: The customers of the business are oil dealers. Customers of business are one of the important stakeholders. When the repair project will be undertaken then the oil dealers will get less business; this can hamper the relations with customers i.e. oil dealers (Boyer, 2017). Besides this business will also be affected as due to repair project business dealing will also decrease. Weight-age is 50 percent.

|
They will be used to stop the leakage of petrol. Patches size will be different for all three tanks (ranging size from 1.5 m2 - 3 m2)
|
2
|
Cleaning and repainting
|
All the three oil storage tanks will be cleaned and repainted from both outside and inside.
|
3
|
Steel anchors
|
They will be fitted on the top of all the three tanks. It is one of the key deliverables as it will facilitate in infrastructure facilities.
|
4
|
Supply valve
|
Replacement of third oil storage tank`s supply valve shall be done. As the main valve is made up of steel and its size is 300 mm.
|
Acceptance Criteria
The project will be treated as completed, as when, it will fulfill the conditions of acceptance criteria, which are as follows:
- The project is going to be accepted when the all three oil storage tanks start functioning again in a proper manner. If any issue is found in restore functioning of any of these three tanks, then the project will not be accepted(POVILAITIS, 2014).
- Another criteria for acceptance of project is that there shall be no leakage from any of the oil tanks after the repair work. When the project will be accomplished then leak detection shall be done to verify that there is no leakage issue. If any issue is found then the project will not be accepted.
- Any delay in the deliverable of the undertaken project by the repair company will lead for non-acceptance of the project(Brown, 2015). In addition to this, the penalty is also going to be imposed, if the repair company does not complete the repair work and deliverable of the project within specified time.
- The project manager will verify the deliverables, if any issue is found by the manager then the project will not be accepted( Koivusalo, 2015).
Monitor and control of project completion
The undertaken project will be monitored and controlled through the Gantt chart. As this will also help in the accomplishment of the project activities within specific time period.

Success measurement
The project’s success will be evaluated by the following manner:
Reduction in fines: The project will be treated as successful, as when the fines imposed by the government will be reduced up to AUS$ 3,000 or when there will be no fine (Harrin, 2017).
The upturn in profitability: One of the other criteria of the project`s success is the intensification of profit after the completion of the project. As, if the profit is recorded after the repair of tanks for the reason that less cost incurred on all the three tanks then the project will be deemed to be successful (POVILAITIS, 2014).
