Impact Analysis Report and Individual Reflection
The report should address the following:

Evaluation of the internal and external factors and their impact on project management processes Development of strategies to implement the appropriate actions

Drafted communication plan and outcomes to diverse stakeholders At end of the report, The reflection should cover What key knowledge and skills you learned through this subject?

How will they benefit you further study and career? ? Any Good, Bad or Ugly of your total learning experience?

Factors affecting project:

This report is going to discuss the changes required in the quasar communications management. This is among the world’s leading industry of communication. The report will analyse the changes that are being obtained as an outcome of the previous part of the project. Various changes are being implemented to improve the condition of the workplace. This report will further discuss in details about the management changes. The incorporated change for controls will also be analysed. Further, a discussion will be done on the validation of the changes and how these changes are going to affect the company (Burke 2013). There are several life cycles in the project, and every life cycle is essential for the project, and in case of changes are made in the organisation, then every step in the software lifecycle will reflect it. There are three areas where the changes are needed to be implemented, and for handling this, the company needs to hire employees and train them externally.

The primary motive of the case study is to explain that, the quasar company has faced several situations where the changes became necessary for the management part. The differences are being analysed and implemented after matching the requirements. First change required is in the R&D project management. The main issue that is being faced by R&D project management is that there is a lack of communication and coordination. This problem arises in the marketing department as they reject the task or projects without consulting the project manager. This problem is needed to be addressed on an urgent basis (Kerzner & Kerzner 2017). One more issue that arises with small project management is, the manager is not able to handle multiple tasks at a time. Sometimes this also depends on the mentality of the project manager, as they think that controlling a big project is more manageable than a small project.

There also arises the problem with line managers as they don't feel the need to consult with the project manager. There is no direct association of line manager with the project; this shows the gap in the communication between the line manager and the project manager (Nicholas &Steyn 2017). This shows the lack of leadership qualities and also the organisational structure is not proper. For gaining productivity with high efficiency and effectiveness, changes are required.  The main problem arises when different people come up with different approaches to the same project. It becomes very much difficult to manage the situation; this also causes conflicts sometimes within the department. The change in the organisation is the necessity for each company for the growth of the company on a long term. The project manager conspires the job of his own as the low priority and value (Serra &Kunc2015). The manager thinks that there is no profit and less importance is obtained while taking a small project. This thinking is wrong as with the help of small projects company can gain the reputation as the project delivered will be on time and with efficiency. This will help the company to analyse whether the internal resources are working correctly or not in the company.

Changes in Project Management Processes:

Several changes are made to the processes of project management. Earlier it has been discussed why the changes are required and the necessity of the changes. Among all the changes necessary, the primary focus is on the part that there is a need to improve the communication and coordination between the departments and the employees(Lock 2017). It is the responsibility of each department to discuss the problems with the project manager, and then only they are supposed to take action on the projects. Similarly, it is expected from the marketing manager to communicate and discuss with the project manager before giving up or rejecting any project (Larson &Gray 2015). Every people in the department must conduct a meeting in the entire department so that they can discuss the project and then plan accordingly. With this communication process, the project management process will get improved and will result in effective communication for the company.

The manager of the project must have the capability to manage multiple tasks at a time; this will be beneficial for the company. The project manager should take up both small and large project with efficiency and should give equal priority. The primary objective of the line manager is to understand the role assigned by the project manager and should act accordingly. In addition to this, the line manager is not allowed to give a conclusion for the project without consulting with the project manager (Marchewka 2014). The communication between the line manager and project managers is essential for improving the migration of conflict among them and for the success of the project. The administrative structure is the significant part of a company, and this also affects the plans. The manager of the organisation should have leadership skills so that they can keep control over employees properly and make them work according to need with efficiency and effectiveness. The project manager must solve the conflict between different departments (Verzuh 2015). The conflict occurs as a result of different opinion, as employees of the different department have the different idea regarding the same project. Quasar Communication Inc. is a large business. Therefore the organisational structure is needed to be well organised so that the company can get benefits for a long term. This will help to maintain the reputation of the company and will also be able to satisfy the need of the customer (Uhl&Gollenia 2016). The project manager has to give a project the highest priority and value. The small projects are the significant part of the company, this need to be understood by the project manager. The plan is needed to be completed by the project on time to deliver it within the deadline.

For an integrated management project, it is necessary to do the integrated change control. The people who are in a higher position in the company (Goldratt 2017) are implementing these changes. In this report, many changes are suggested for the Quasar Communication Inc. that is already discussed in the above part. The integrated change control has three various processes that are handled, accept or reject differently. The incorporated management change works starting from the change suggestion to the application of the change. For implementing the integrated change control successfully an appropriate and precise plan for the project management is necessary. (Harrison & Lock 2017).

Integrated Change Control:

The responsibility of the project manager is to discover the origin of the cause that is essential to be changed within the project management processes. For incorporating change management, there are several changes, for example: change approval, change request, change approval and change execution is used. First, the manager is needed to identify the changes required to be made and then will analyse the members affected by this changes. After requesting for the changes, the project manager will analyse the changes required and will make a decision accordingly (Lientz& Rea 2016). The changes will get initiated and implemented by members of the project and will be presided by the project manager, and accordingly, a date will be assigned by the project manager for implementing the project. The change request analysis is made to examine the reason behind the change and which part is needed to be changed. Change analysis assesses the scope, resources and the impact of the change. After the evaluation, the manager looks after the documentation and make it sure that the changes have been made properly as the documentation contains all the detailed information about the changes incorporated in the process.

According to me, everything requires a change to grow in the market and to overcome the issues in the company. This helps in increasing productivity and gains reputation. The company faces fewer issues regarding delivery of good product to the clients and manages to meet the customer satisfaction. In this report, Quasar Communication Inc. made several changes for meeting the purpose in different part of the management. The changes made in the area of R &D project management, small project management, extensive project management, and capital equipment project management.

Further, we can see that in  R&D project management the changes become necessary to improve the communication and synchronisation between the employees and the project manager. These changes are required to develop the relation among the project manager and marketing department so that they can make a proper decision for the project. It is the responsibility of project manager to set the milestones for the project and alert each of the employees about their responsibility regarding the project.

According to the analysis made, it has been noticed that there are many changes made in the project of a small scale. The project managers are being trained for doing multiple tasks with managing to time effectively. Further, it is being noticed that there is a change in the mentality of the project manager regarding the size of the projects.

The change made in the organisational structure is among the critical changes that are being implemented. It is the responsibility of the leader to change their qualities. This will encourage and motivate the employee who is working on the project and are targeting to obtain the goal.

The final and most significant change that is required for the organisation is the mindset towards the project. According to me, it is the responsibility of each project manager to treat small projects and big projects equally. With accepting small projects and delivering them within the deadline, will further enhance the customer's satisfaction and also will add up to the reputation. This study will help us to understand what every organisation need to follow while implementing any project. From the given case study we learnt that how everyone in a company needs to follow the advice of their project manager to complete the project successfully.  This case study also helps us to know about the fact that, there is always a need to implement some changes so that the organisation can earn a profit with time. This also increases the productivity. Thus it becomes essential to maintain good relationships including employee and stakeholders. Stakeholders also play an essential role in adding up the profit of the company.

Conclusion:

From the above report, this can be concluded that the Quasar Communication Inc. requires several changes and this changes are implemented on the processes of the project management. As Quasar Communication Inc. is among the world does the company face largest company, so it becomes necessary to solve the internal issues. In the above report, the changes that are going to be implemented are being analysed. The details of the all change that are made on the project management processes. The integrated change control is discussed in the above report that how the changes are made to the project management of the company. The internal and external changes are being addressed.

All over in the report changes needed to implement are being addressed and then the project manager analyses the necessary change and accordingly the project manager decides whether to grant the permission for the requested change or not. There is also a relationship maintained among the stakeholder and the company.  All the changes are reflected in each phase of the life cycle of the project. Also, an overview and the personal opinion is being discussed in the previous part of the report. These changes and the relationship among the stakeholders thus reflects in a better way by enhancing the companies capability.
