Inital Post On ISOL 631:
By the end of the semester, it has been understood that employee training is a vital component in the success of the organisation. There might arise several issues in an organisation. It is important to come up with certain implementations that would help to change the attitude of the employees (Jehanzeb & Bashir, 2013). In fact, overcoming the negative perception and changing the culture remains the goal of the security policy. I always considered that implementation of a strategy in an organisation is not easy but with effective communication and support from the executives, flexibility in the organisation can be brought easily.
I have also understood that communication is a tool that helps in implementation of the policies effectively. There remain multiple executive supporters in an organisation and so communication helps to support the program that the particular policy can be implemented easily. The idea about the people in an organisation was clear before but after the completion of the semester I was able to distinguish the different levels and hierarchy of people in an organisation. In order to monitor the security of the entire organisation, the important areas including internet, mails and computer should be taken into consideration. The internet security of the organisation should comply with the latest technologies (Karanges et al.,2015). Technology can play a significant role in the overall activities of the organisation ranging from security to setting up the organisational policy. Thus, it can be said that with the completion of this semester I have been able to gained huge knowledge regarding organisational culture and behaviour.
