I would like to consider record keeping process that I have experienced during my internship. This ICT task incorporated the utilization of Australian Standards. These standards are given as follows: establishment of the responsibility of the ICT professional, planning for ICT support, acquiring the validity of ICT roles, ethical obligations for implementing new technical system architectures (Al-Saggaf, Burmeister and Weckert 2015). All of these aspects are taken into account for managing the effectiveness of the network system designed for the organization. In addition to this, these standards provided the directors in analyzing their responsibilities and roles in implementing new system within organization. ISO standards were taken into account within the concerned organization and these standards were responsible for managing security, service and quality management aspect within the organization. In addition to this, the information systems are also taken into consideration in this case (Schlagwein, Thorogood and Willcocks 2014). As I manage all operations related to organizational data, high level of confidentiality must be maintained. Therefore, Public Act 2002 is involved in this case. This standard provides the legislation for managing the confidentiality of documents and information.

I have done my internship in a famous Australian ICT company. In contrast with the Australian legislation format, I used operate various databases that were extremely confidential and has to be managed by me. In addition to this, I used to check the user access with respect to various authentication formats and regulations. These were introduced from the Australian code of conducts related to Legislation or Compliances (Handford, Elliott and Campbell 2015). I had to follows ISO 27000 for security management concerns within the database management process. This standard incorporates security perspectives related to any information system or technical operations. The company documents as well as organizational and financial data were managed by me. These documents were extremely confidential, therefore, I used to involve ISO 27000 standards in this operational measure. Integrity of information was maintained with the help of these standards by me. In addition to this, not only I had to manage the confidentiality of the document with the help of these standards but also provide information at the right time for using that specific document to the right person.
