An office space is generally equipped with internet of things devices. Hence, connected to internet is referred as a smart office. It also represents an intelligent ecosystem that relies on connected devices (Sihombing et al. 2016). It can be monitored, controlled as well as manages several operations as well as working conditions. There are several advantages of using IoT such as energy savings, efficient business operations, better employee productivity as well as increased safety and comfortable working environment. In the present study, an IoT smart office has been set up. The main office is located in Sydney, whereas other office is located at Barthurst (Sihombing et al. 2016). The main office includes celling fan, windows, front door, motion detector, lawn sprinkler system, smoke detector, wind speed detector and temperature detector are included. With the help of cisco packet tracer software the design has been presented.
DHCP Server Configuration
Sydney Smart office design has a registration server, tablet as well as wireless router.
With the help of cisco packet tracer software the registration page has been set up. The IP address, subnet mask and default gateway have been configured in the system. In addition, link local address has been created.
In DHCP server, the services with Start IP address and subnet mask has been put. In addition, IP address of pool name and default gateway are given so that DHCP server is configured properly in Sydney office.
Registration Server Configuration
The registration server is configured and display name is given as 11674077_Shatan Registration Server. After the process, the registration server is on.
Connecting the server form tablet
After configuration, the server from tablet is connected. The page would be helpful to put user name and password in the server and login to the server. On the other hand, there is another option of sign up now. It helps the guest user to create new account in the server.
After giving the user name and password, the user can log in to the server.
IoT Device Connection
In this step, IoT device connection is set up with the help of bandwidth and Mac address. It helps to develop connection with server. The bandwidth has been given along with MAC address. The PSK Pass Phrase is given in WPA 2-PSK.
In this setup of Sydney office, DHCP and server address has been provided. The IP address 192.168.25.6 has been given as server address. In addition, user name has been given as 11674077 and password as 11674077.
In the system, smart devices are mentioned in the case study. The devices should be wireless connected. In the office, window has been placed. In addition, wind detector is placed with the router. On the other side, motion detector is placed.
Protocols used for transmitting simple PDU from tablet
In order to set up the process, the protocols are used in the smart IoT systems have been set up. The protocols are helpful to configure the devices in the set up process. On the other hand, it helps to develop connection between the devices.
