Stakeholders play one of the main important roles in any kind of project as stakeholders are directly as well as indirectly associated with the implementation and completion of any project. In the Parallel Runway Project of Sydney Airport, involvement of stakeholders plays the most vital role. There is engagement of stakeholder and community in the airport activities of Sydney Airport Parallel Runway project, established by Australian Government. The stakeholder engagement has become pervasive in all public sector processes. But, in the development of the stakeholder engagement plan, a range of issues are there. The first key issue that can arise is, in managing the new architecture. The main issue was aircraft noise which is the focus of the policy as well (Black et al. 2018). The construction of new parallel runway will require many days and it will create lots of noise and vibration which will affect the existing runway and create hazards for the people who are travelling. Not only that, the area is crowded with other residents as well. They will also get affected by the noises and vibrations created by the constructional process of a second runway project. Even, it will be a long term project which will last long and will remain same noisy. Another issue is environmental issue that is hampering the stakeholder engagement in the project (Shaaban and Nadeem 2015). So, the major issue lies with the long-term construction plan as well as the noises as a result of it and it is challenging in the development of stakeholder engagement and thus financial problem is rising.
