Oral glucose tolerance test

In this test a person is asked not to take anything for the entire evening or night and the blood glucose/sugar is measured. Afterwards, they will recommend you to take sugary fluids and then after that, they take a sample of the person blood and test for some several hours (8). If the level of the blood sugar is below 139 mg/dl (7.7 mmol/L) is considered to average.
