Background and setting

An organization can have different types of people contributing to the work in the company, some may be full time, some may be casual workers, some may even be working as volunteers in the organization. The BK2 is such an organization with many workers of all kinds. However, a company will in one time or the other need to employ and hire more workers may be, for replacement or increasing the team (Armstrong, Landers and Collmus, 2016, p.140).

Current situation

BK2 is currently in need of hiring 3 managers, 6 full time, 6 casuals and 18-part time employee. The proposal will be providing an outline of how the process may be taken. The BK2 organization that offers restaurant services in Tullamore. It has been faced by some challenge in employee turnover, some have retired and some are underperforming. This is the reason as to why the company want to add more people in the organization so as it may meet its specific and broad objectives. The expansion of premises and profits need the organization to conduct this service so as to survive in the competitive market in hospitality markets.

Management Strategies

Profit Margin is the new strategy that will be used to in recruitment and hiring the people needed. It will be used together with SWOT analysis where the benefits ad demerits of conducting the exercise will be examined. On this bit, the clients will be informed by the involved team about the aspects to be considered so as to maximize efficiency and increase productivity (Lacity, Khan and Yan, 2016, p.269).

Objectives and major considerations

After profit margin was carried out, the results shown that the BK2 profits are diminishing an observable rate. The employees have been said to be less, especially the part time employee. The managing team is insufficient as well.

The research should therefore seek to address the cause of low profit margins and investigate the levels that hiring more workers would achieve in increasing the profit margins for the company considering all the factors (Hiles, and Hon, 2016, p.71).

Following the high completion in the global market, the organization need to have diversification in all sectors. The technological sector, the abilities and skills should as well be diversified (Wirtz, Tuzovicand Ehret, 2015, p.567). The organization should realize the changing global market where the shift has gone to social networking marketing and digital purchases (Coffing, and Bonfiglio,2017, P.503). These needs more technical experts who the company can either hire or employ so that they can take the Bk2 organization company.

The research will therefore seek to examine the effectiveness of globalization and social networking in its context and hiring of the new team. Under this issue, the research will seek to also analyze and note the variant needs in the organization in the realms of technology and internet marketing and how the roles shall be handled by the team.

The main objective will be drafting the criteria that will be effective and efficient in recruiting the expected team to perform in BK2 organization.

Recruitment Method to be used

Sourcing or recruitment will be advertised to all people in the daily and weekly magazines and in the BK2 online website. The recruitment counsel will have to use three recruitment methods interchangeably. Among the methods, there will be Internal sourcing, external sourcing and candidate selection method. The internal employee will have equal chances to participate, may be for their new jobs and also the people from outside the organization will be involved (Armstrong, Landers and Collmus, 2016, p.106). The candidate selection method will be used finally to evaluate and examine the qualifications for the most competent employee.

Qualification

Qualifications will be based on a specific criterion. Firstly, the candidate will be expected to have a clear expression and communication skills that will be expressed to the recruiter’s panel. He/she will be expected to be organized and smart on the appearance, on how the documents and resume are organized.

For the managers, they are expected to have a master in Business Management or its related course and at least two (2) years’ experience, or, a Bachelor degree in Business Management course and at least six (6) years’ experience. A certificate of good conduct and merits of good managerial skills from an authorized body will be expected.

For the others, full time, casual and part-time employees, they are expected to have at least a diploma certificate in the area of expertise. Working experience will be an added advantage.

Cost

The approximated cost for the whole sourcing recruitment and selection process is $ 5000. It will be used in advertising and drafting of the interview programs. The allocated cost will also be used for the overall matters pertaining to the counsel of experts involved in management and interview designing and development.
