Introduction

The aim of this research is to demonstrate how Walmart company has succeeded through the past years by applying digital communication strategies in their organization.  It is an American company which has recently come under recognition for its remarkable digital communication initiatives. Like any other small or large company Walmart also had their share of challenges but they have dealt with the issues with digital communicating tools.

The objectives of the research are to highlight how other companies can apply digital communication strategies by giving an example of Walmart company. Another objective is to explain the usefulness of digital communication and the ways to implement it in the organization.

Background of the study

The rapid advancement in the business world and the development of science and technology has created the need for certain appliances which will enable the organizations to connect with the world fast.  Digital communication is a mode of communication that consists of few strategies and tool to support an organization to communicate properly with the employees and the customers.  An information or thought when carried to the recipient digitally and also encoded digitally, digital communication occurs. Every organization must implement digital communication strategies to help the management and the employees to connect with each other digitally and work more passionately.

Context of the Research

The research will be conducted by taking the example of Walmart company.The main rationale behind the study of digital communication is to know and explain the importance of digital communication in the highly competitive market.  It is a universal truth that in order to operate effectively in an organization the communication between the executives and the employees have to be transparent, otherwise the employees won’t feel motivated towards working passionately. It is seen that many business organizations understand the value of communication, but they do not put the effort to implement proper strategies to connect with the employees. This study will help them know the easy step to implement the strategies and communicate strategically.

Proposal

The proposal is intended to form a framework for the next research which will be conducted on the implementation of digital communication strategies based in the Walmart company. The structure of the study will be in report format. The study will start with an introduction giving an overview of the entire paper. The introduction will summarize the contents of the paper. In the discussion part will contain a brief introduction of the company and further analyze the effectiveness of their communication strategies to determine whether other organizations can follow their strategies or not.  The paper will also provide recommendation to the company.
