Operation management is considered as the process of controlling the internal functionality of a firm which is key of accomplishing organizational goals in an effective manner. However, there are certain issues, which are often being faced by the firms to improve their operation. Compliance with legal framework is one of the greatest HR related issue, faced by the firms in recent times. Coping up with rapidly changing employment rules has become one of the greatest challenge, faced by the business owners. This has created barrier for the firms to stick to a certain employment regulation. In addition, the uncertainty in the business environment is acting as a driving force behind the firms to modify their internal structure constantly (Brewster et al.). This is another major HR related issue, which is making it difficult for the employees to cope up with changing working pattern.
Intervention and outcome:
In order to mitigate the challenges related to drastically changing rules and regulations, the HR department has ensured that they had strong compliance with local labor laws. This has helped in aligning the staffs within single platform. In addition to that, compliance with local employment law has also supported in running the process of employment in an effective manner (Guest).
As changing internal structure has possessed major problems for the employees to working in new system, healthy communication with the staffs has been maintained. Monthly staffs meeting has been arranged to convey the significance of change among the human resources. Such practices has supported in creating a collaborative working environment by generating positive perception among the human resources.
Lack of comprehensive planning was a greatest barrier towards completing the problem in a timely manner. Being a project manager, this lacking has created barrier for me to assign the roles and responsibilities of all the members. I have learned that implementation of work-break down structure at the initial phase is the key of completing a project in a timely and cost effective manner.
