Answer:

The thesis statement of this proposal will be the intervention of the UNSC in Libya created adverse consequences against the safety of innocent citizens.

Research Goal

This research aims at investigating the rationale of the UNSC Resolution 1973 in the restoration of peace in Libya. The research will examine the aspects of civilian protection and attainment of peace in line with the sovereignty that countries enjoy under international law

Objectives

To examine the utility of the UNSC Resolution of 1973 for the Libya crisis
To assess the extent of civilian casualties following the UNSC Resolution

To review the effectiveness of the UN Security Council in restoring peace in Libya

To explore diplomacy as means to restoration of peace in modern sovereign states

Data for this research will be collected from a comparative literature analysis. Sources of information will include the internet and official documents from the United Nations and other international legal papers. The researcher will also use publications in peer reviewed journal articles for this study.
