Strategic Alignment: Every project is delivered considering the efficient and effective output that emphasis on the outcome of the project as the scope and goals set in the project-planning phase. The phases explained within the project management include the initiation, planning, execution, risk assessment, and monitoring and controlling that could be helpful n aligning the strategic goals of the project with the activities implemented within the project.
Leadership and managerial approach: project management emphasis on the managerial and leadership skills and its importance within then project execution and deliver the constraints of the project within the expected budget and schedule. It explains how proper communication and effective stand ups by the project can result in motivating the employees and staffs towards the project objectives and goals. It has explained that the role project manager is very crucial for the overall delivery of the project and if proper and effective contribution made by the project manager, it could be helpful in delivering the objectives of the project in efficient manner.
Clear objectives and Focus: project management strategies can be an effective measure for the growth and development of the project towards the concise and feasible objectives and goals of the project. This will provide the stakeholders a path on which they can move for the successful project execution.
Realistic Project Planning:
Quality Control: the quality of a project can be measured towards identifying whether the delivered project fulfils the needs and requirements of the consumers or not.
Risk Management: This phase is of same priority as that of the other phases as it includes the consideration of the uncertainties those might affect the growth and development of the project. It will be focusing on the identification of the risk factors, respective modifications and changes, and taking precaution actions, those might affect the overall growth of the project.
I learnt how effective project management could lead the successful delivery of the project and how crucial, the manager plays role during the execution of the project. I identified the proper and effective practices those could be delivered for the effective and efficient deployment of the project.
I also noticed that how effective can be proper managerial skills for the deployment of a project. I learnt the project success factors those could be considered while delivering the project under proper leadership and managerial approaches. In practical I noticed the crucial role of the manager and effective management styles for handling the constraints and activities of other team members associated with the project.

This week was dedicated to the factors those are very crucial for the delivery of the successful project as these factors could possibly lead to the failure of the project and it is an obvious fact to consider all these factors. We were provided with the case studies in manner to analyse them and produce a well developed path for the project considering the most crucial aspects of the project including the scope, budget and benefits. These are the major factors for the successful delivery of the project and lagging or failure in these constraints would affect the overall failure of the project.
Considering the previous approaches about the project failures, it can be stated that the project management has been continuously evolving and considering more precise and effective processes involved in the project. Thereafter, consideration of the project management policies, guidelines, wide templates, and project management methodology are other considerable facts for protecting the project from fails. There have been many methodologies presented by different researches on the development of a methodology that can help the manager for delivering the project.
However, it can be stated that limiting the expenses of the project, risk consideration, flexibility, and management of the complexity can be helpful in delivering the project in an efficient and effective manner. Enterprise project management was another topic that needed to be clarify before the execution of the project within an enterprise and led the project in effective manner. The major focus of the EPM is to focus on the compliance of the project management methodologies within the existing policies and procedure of the organization. I learnt the factors related to the failure of the project and estimation and consideration of these objectives during the overall execution of the project. Krezner’s Project Management Maturity Model stated the different levels of the project execution and deployment within a live organization that can be contributed for the enhancement of the performance of the organization. Identification of the project maturity can be helpful in delivering the project in successful and efficient manner and implementing the activities, those can boost the growth and development of the organization. I experienced that the success factors and objectives stimulated by the kerzner have been practically feasible and could be implemented within an organization in manner to implement new considerations or enhancing the previous services and activities. In learnt about the different methodologies of the project management and the application of the tools and techniques those could be implemented within the project for the accomplishment of the project constraints in an effective and efficient manner. The project designed can be executed for the implementation phase of the project and thereafter, the crucial factor raises is the monitoring and auditing the growth and development of the project that will be helpful in the identification of the changes those could be implemented for the positive and expected output of the project. Project Staffing This week was all about the understanding on the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders involved in the project considering their capabilities and capacity of accomplishing the tasks in an effective and efficient manner. I learnt how project manager plays the most crucial role in assigning the roles and responsibilities of the individuals for the accomplishment of the tasks and activities within the project.
There are many considerations those need to be considered while executing the selection of the roles and responsibilities of every individual within then project. these considerations will be helpful in ensuring the effectiveness of the project and managing the quality of the deliverables provided by the implementation of proper selection considering the personnel performance and policy problems with the same individual. Project manager can be effectively playing the crucial role in the staff selection and could effectively influence their performance during the overall execution of the project. there are many considerations those should be considered while selecting the individuals’ integrity and honesty, assumption of the personnel problems, decision making ability, certainty and risk evaluation in manner to identify their capability with respective to the size of the project.
Potential and experience are the major concerns while assigning the project manager within the project as there are many examples of past on how the less experienced managers led the project towards failure. I learnt the major facts related to the personality of the project manager and how he or she could rotate the project execution towards the objectives and goals of the project. There should be some exceptions while selecting the project manager for special cases that include; the management of more than one project, full-time v/s part-time assignments, functional manager and general manager and they should be selected as per the picture of the project. The Selection of an unclassified or unexperienced project could push the project towards failure and affect the whole project constraints as he or she might not be capable of handling the project objectives or strength of the employees staffed within the project. I learnt that the major role in the selection of the staffs or the project manager includes the proper consideration of the individual’s capability against the needs and requirements of the project. The role and personality of the project manager could possibly affect the development and growth of the project as he or she is the one who will be leading the whole project team. He should be an individual with proper management and leadership skills in manner to handle the project constraints and assign proper, effective and feasible roles to the individuals involved in the project.
Organizational Project Management Organizational Project Management can be defined as the “execution of an organization's strategies through projects by combining the systems of portfolio management, program management, and project management (Turner and Müller 2017).”
This week was helpful in understanding the benefits and advantages of the OPM that includes many aspects related to the fulfilment of the needs and requirements of the customers through providing better, innovative, and effective solution related to these. I was educated that sustained leadership is an important factor for the establishment of an effective and efficient organizational change management. The lecture was all about how organizational input, active portfolio, OPM core-enabling, strategic benefits and results that helped in understanding about the groups involved in the project. The group within a project management consist of team and project manager, parent organization, and organization of the customers those could be managed in an effective and efficient manner.
The practices those could enable this effectiveness include the priority, credibility, visibility, and accessibility those could play an effective role in the establishment of the responsible team that can deliver the objectives of the project and manage the quality of the project. Critical questions can be asked regarding the practice levels of the project empowering the successful delivery of the project that includes the industry specific, professional standards, individual, company specific, and industry specific in manner to accomplish the constraints of the project within the expected schedule and budget of the project. However, the consideration of the best practices might fail due to certain factors and thus, these could affect the overall project execution.
Identification of the best practices includes the consideration of the best practices those could be delivered for the organizational control and thus, deliver the expected outcome from the project. The organizational project management also consist of the Business management practices and organizational project management. Consideration of the critical factors can be helpful in delivering the objectives of the project t in an efficient and effective manner. I have learnt that the identification of the best practice can be accomplished through the application of following practices those include tailoring of the approach and predictions for the project success and could be delivered in an effective manner through the best assumptions and practices of the individuals. I learnt the importance of the best practices identification; and how these practices affect the overall execution of the project. I can implement my knowledge and skills for the determination of the best practices those could be manipulated for the enhancement in the quality and deliverables if the project. Project manager can interrelate the goals and objectives of the project through relating it with the organizational goals and hence complying it with the scope and objectives of the organization. I am looking forward to implement these learning for the identification of the best practices those can be utilized for the enhancement within the organization or the project.
I have seen the manager’s role within the organization; I am connected to in manner to accomplish the objectives and goals of the project. Considering the learning of the previous week, it can be stated that I understood the success factor related to the role of the project manager within the overall execution of the project and consider it as the most crucial role. I had learnt about the Gantt Chart, resource identification, and budget estimation for the successful delivery of the project and enhancing the project maturity considering all these factors. I also identified that project management mainly focuses on the analysis of the project requirement and designing the project as per the identified design of the project. I learnt the practices involved in the project those are capable of affecting the overall execution of the project and hence, delivering the high quality project. The best practices assumptions can be made considering the current development of the project and capabilities of the staffs and employees in the different sectors considering their roles and responsibilities throughout the delivery of the project.
