Since manager of the organization has been looking for alternatives from external sources without success, turning back to organizational resourceful employees was the last alternative. Ideally, it is important to value individual resources rather than external resources that might be costly to achieve. Good coordination during project execution need to be established in order to facilitate clear goals which are achievable. Strategies for continuous professional development in project management need to be established so that team members can be equipped enough to manage any organizational project. To manage projects successfully, team members should be trained effectively to equip them with relevant skills, organize seminars for employees so that they can be empowered to be up to date with their task. Similarly, organization might decide to employ a specialist in project management to lead the team while providing necessary advice on proper strategies to follow when coming up with current project execution methodology.
In order to come up with proper methodology to follow, organization should employ practices such as; developing project management knowledge base, developing a strategy on how to allocate PMM roles and responsibilities to various staff members and initiating continuous assessment in regard to set project goals. Additionally, chosen PMM framework should be followed in order to come up with standard product which is acceptable in the market and would offer return to the organization. Lastly, the output of the organization in terms of PMM ought to be determined and relevant measures such as project management Office be adopted because it offer more returns than other strategies.
