Understanding Lean and Six-Sigma for process improvement description:

The Lean Six Sigma is the process depending on collaborative team efforts. This is to develop performances by systematically eradicating wastes and then reducing those variations. This assimilates lean enterprise and manufacturing and process of Six Sigma.

In this study scopes and problems with lean and Six Sigma are analyzed regarding its connection with BPM at Woolworths, Australia. Next, the Six Sigma techniques are identified and deployed for developing business processes. Lastly, it has demonstrated the process assessment description.

The Lean Six Sigma helps in the development and business ownership. As BPM is integrated, they help in quickening real-time executing of processes through automating and managing to simplify and raise production. Then it helps in rising speed and agility. As six works to develop methods, BPM helps in managing and monitoring performances ("What do you use Lean Six Sigma for??Business Process Improvement!?(Lean Six Sigma)", 2018). Further, it is better to approach towards problem solving. Six Sigma consists of its individual tends to fix some issues one at a time instead of concentrating on the more significant scenario. Here the roles of BPM come to play. Moreover, it has been patching weaknesses. Six Sigma and BPM together patch areas of optimizations that individual mythologies cannot. However, the technologies have problems regarding lack of commitment to leadership (Boakye et al., 2017). Moreover, Woolworths comprises of insufficient understanding of different of six sigma methods. Besides, it is not executed correctly. Quality development projects of six sigma go awry as they are not performed sufficiently.

The various techniques to identify and deploy lean six sigma methodologies for improving the business process are identified below. First of all, the step includes the define phase. Here business process development team agrees over necessities to be focused and accomplished. Then there is measurement where the primary aim is to recognize sources of issues through creating a practical understanding of current process situations. Next, there is analysis where theories are causes to be verified, analyzed and identifies and forming a basis for solutions in improving phases. Then there is an improvement to verify suggested solutions for solving issues and eliminate various wastes, defects and unwanted costs. The organisational goals are to be linked to the results of six sigma deployments to go through the process analysis description. Woolworths must be customizable to suit the various necessities of various business and groups. Then they must focus over sustenance of this Six Sigmas within their industry. Further, they should be tailoring facility to suit their many necessities and deliver numerous various channels of delivery (Cucoranu, Parwani & Pantanowitz, 2014). Moreover, they must speak of everyday language and the development of competencies around the company.

The above sound six sigma strategy and planning would be useful in aligning the “Six Sigma” program goals. This is to be done with organizational vision and mission. Moreover, an effective sound Six Sigma planning and policy is to be devised. This must be enabling creation of different kinds of deployment planning. It should also include development of an effective system of infrastructure the innovation of “Six Sigma”. This also includes the creating of a smart process to assure the managing of oversight and various kinds of correction in courses as needed.
