Describe this innovative idea in details (product)

The product identified is fast food kiosk. As a manager, when looking at the innovative idea of the product, there is the need to see the improvement of the new item from those existing in the market, changes in outline of the item, or utilization of new materials or segments in the assembling of the product. The idea in mind is the creation of a fast food through a truck (Flew &Terry, 2008).

In UAE, there are various samples of item advancement in fast food incorporated in presenting new item with improved quality and enhancing its general execution. In the item development of fast foods, one need to cut the expense of advancement and procedure advancement, are three separate arrangements of advancement which plan to build up an organization's generation methods. Accordingly item development can be separated into two classifications of advancement: radical advancement which goes for adding to another item, and incremental advancement which goes for enhancing existing items. The company is going to employ both classifications so that there is a totally new product to the people in UAE (Kurtz & Dave, 2010).


Determine who would be your segment that you will sell to them the product

The target segment in creating the product in UAE is all categories of people. It cuts across all the young and the old, rich and poor and from all works of life. The demographic, social, as well age is going to be the basis of segmentation. Demography is going to gather an area where there is large population of people in the area, social is going to look at the social needs of the people that are going to dictate their purchasing power and age will look at the needs of the young, teenagers and well as adults. The reason of incorporating all these people is because there is a need to satisfy their needs that are not meet by other like business in the area through creation of quality products with affordable prices and provide efficiency. The company is going to incorporate a moveable van that is going to be located in a central position in the UAE city (Kurtz & Dave, 2010).


The marketing mix (4P’s)                            

      1.The product

Under the product, the company is going to employ a variety of fast food. Fast foods are the food prepared for serving within a very short time after preparation (Flew &Terry, 2008).

      2. Pricing

Pricing is the value set for a product category is the fast foods presented by the company. The dictation of prices in all fast foods is going to be affordable depending on the type of fast food. It is to range from $1.00 to $ 2.00. It is going to be very affordable to all segments identified (Flew &Terry, 2008).

      3. The place strategy

The strategy employed in place strategy is use of a moveable truck. The truck will be fitted with all the necessities of a fast food restaurant so that it is going to move in the city to strategic positions. However, it is going to be fixed is a particular position in the city where there is high population of people (Flew &Terry, 2008).


      4. The promotion strategy

The company is going to employ the media, posters, advertisements, internet and social media. The media and advertisements are preferred because it is a medium that covers a wide area and hence many people will be reached. The internet and the social media are selected because it is the present form that many people are using. The company is going to create a website that is going to get linked with sites such as Facebook and twitter so as to capture any person on those sites (Flew &Terry, 2008).

Determine the brand positioning with clear justification. (10points)

In order to position the company very well, the phrases “Fast Foods-The Best Place for U” will act as the brand name. It is because in brand positioning, the best brands possess a saying or expression and a related space in buyers' personalities, which turn into each brand's position in the commercial center. In most straightforward terms, a fruitful brand situating exertion empowers a brand picture and personalities have significance for purchasers and separate it from contender brands. The word, “The Best Place for U” encourages clients that there are best products and one cannot regret of getting into the place for fast foods(Rajagopal, 2007).

No I will not employ any agency. The company is not going to employ an external agency in promotion as it is going to be very expensive. Instead it is going to handle it alone by employing all the means promotion identified as the promotional means of reaching to the clients (Rajagopal, 2007).
