Question:

In this assignment, students will estimate activity costs and develop the budget for the case project. The time and cost plan of the case project should include the following items:

  1. Define the activity list in a way that the project can be controlled easily. The total number of activities shouldn’t exceed 100.
  1. Determine the dependencies and sequence of activities. Put this information in a tabular format to be used later for data entry in a scheduling software.
  1. Estimate resource requirements of each activity. The basis of estimation should be clarified.
  1. Determine the duration of each activity. The project calendar should be defined for this purpose.
  1. Use the information you constructed in tasks 1 to 4 to generate bar chart and critical path network by using MS Project or Primavera or any other planning software.
  1. Predict the project completion date and so the necessary adjustments.

  2. Prepare resource profile for the project and level overallocated resources.

  3. Prepare the computer output of your case project and submit it on OLS.
