SCS290 Understanding Cultural Diversity

The concept of equality and diversity for me will obviously align with the liberal approach. To advocate my point I will brief an incident that happened with me in my workplace. It was a case of my promotion in that organization. The managerial post holders of that organization was subjected to promote me and my team in the higher ranks due to the fine performance in that year. But with the spreading of the news, my counterpart for the post started manipulating the managers and eventually went on to succeed. The team of my counterpart committed some operational blunder in the next half year and the organization faced a considerable loss due to that. The operational failure was just the symbol of their incapability of performing such important tasks, being in that decisive position. The decision makers of that organization was under immense pressure due to that situation and realized the fact that the democracy and justice to one’s performance should be always acknowledged. The equality in terms of decisions for every different groups should be served following the liberal and democratic approach to avoid any sort of pseudo benefits to any individual that would end up harming the workforce.
