SOCI112 GLOBAL SOCIETY

As a business individual, I am engaged globally to as part of the global labour. I am a job creator and an entrepreneur who helped to drive the economy. I play a significant role in support of jobs and national prosperity. Economics is one of the sectors that will continue being influenced by the change in technology as the result of globalization. The nature of product competition will be changed by the revolution in the computing and internet world. This will, in turn, continue to lower the costs of communication a change which will in return change the role of labour itself and also the way workers and companies bargain (World Bank Group, 2010).  Therefore, due to the advancement of technology with time, I firmly believe that my role in the global society will continue to move high and capital mobility will continue to increase regarding multinational cooperations. Culture is changing continuously. The popularity of social media is growing at a higher phase.  Therefore my role in the global labour market will be influenced by the change of the population. I will have to change the kind of employment to offer suit the present generation.

Principles of fast food restaurants are dominating many sectors in America and the rest of the world. This is known as McDonaldization. Some of the elements such as efficiency, which is the process of choosing ways to reach specific customers with using the least time and cost possible come into this play in a way that they try to fasten and create more labour force in the globe (Dadush & Shaw, 2012). The assumption with globalisation is that many of the nations in the world depend on common conditions regarding trade, communication and international financial system.
