## Question:

From vUWS you will be provided with a list of mobile phone makes and models to analyse. You will also be provided with three (3) problem statements to address.

For each phone you must obtain the following basic information and summarise in a table:
• Dimensions (thickness, width, height)
• Mass
• Screen size
• Screen resolution
• Battery life (talk time)
• Camera resolution
• Internal memory
• Bluetooth function

You must then analyse this data according to the following and appropriately indicate the results in your table:
1) Determine the range for each of the above specifications
2) Determine the average for each of the above specifications
3) For each of the given Problem Statements you must formulate an applicable Figure of Merit that will be used to identify the mobile phone that most suitably addresses the Problem Statement. Any intermediate analysis or data manipulations used to make the Figure of Merit easier to calculate should also be included in your table. For example, if volume is a variable in the Figure of Merit calculation, a preliminary calculation of volume based on phone dimensions should be included (with units). You may also choose to convert units for some variables, ie from mm to cm.

All units must be metric, and SI units are to be used unless they are inappropriate.
For the purposes of clarity it is recommended that a section of the table is allocated to addressing each individual.

Problem Statement separately even if this leads to the duplication of some data.
When you have completed all analysis and have determined the most suitable mobile phones for each Problem.

Statement, provide a short justification statement that explains what variable was the most influential on the outcome and whether this was reasonable or unreasonable. For example, a phone may have been identified as most suitable due to one particular variable being unusually high or unusually low, ie exceptionally lightweight. Consider the range and average determined for your specification data when making this justification statement.
