It is known that the human resource is one of the critical success factors of an organisation thus it is necessary that effective policies are implemented for increasing the efficiency and the productivity of the employees (Dessler, 2013).

 

In the article, various strategies of human resource management has been presented that can effectively influence the outcomes in terms of the performance of the employees. According to the article, the human resource management strategies can help in establishing the core competencies of the organisation and it can increase the competitive advantage. Here the line of sight has been redefined in terms of the norms, group competencies, organisational culture and capabilities (Buller and McEvoy, 2012). The strategies can help in increasing the motivation of the employees by implementing effective policies regarding the rewards and employee benefits. Effective training programmes can also motivate the employees and thus it can increase the productivity of the employees.

It is known that human capital and social capital are both necessary for obtaining a superior and sustainable performance in the organisation and thus strategies must be implemented for obtaining efficiency in the performance of the employees. Here effective human resource policies and strategies can significantly affect the performance outcomes of the employees in the organisation (Ivancevich and Konopaske, 2013).
