Your tasks

You will assess two different company (within the same industry) attempts at implementing an 

international strategy, based on two different publications (those can be annual reports or press 

releases). You are required to attach these publications to your report.

One of these two companies needs to be New Zealand company and the second needs to be a company 

outside New Zealand but be active in the same industry. For example a New Zealand dairy company (eg 

Fonterra) and a French dairy company (eg Danone).

You are required to investigate, explain, evaluate and reflect on the strategic management of the two 

companies in relation to the knowledge outlined in the lectures and case studies and supported with 

appropriate references.
