Even if you are taking an inductive approach in your research, you should have a clear understanding of the theoretical constructs that relate to your chosen area, so that you can identify how you will work with the

Here you really need to expand in-depth on the problem you are researching, to explain the underlying or supporting theoretical constructs/theories and try to get new insights into the perceived problem that you are investigating. To unravel the complexity of your research problem you might want to apply models or frameworks such as the PESTEL / SWOT / Grant Resource- Based View (RBV) models, Vision and Values, Stakeholder analysis, Value chain analysis etc. on your organisation/industry.

3. Strategic thinking and critical reasoning are very important here. You should try to get more clarity on the research problem after application of these or other appropriate models and frameworks.
