In the global market, the organizations are facing increasing competition and thus they have identified the significance of the work- associated attitudes. Researches have shown that the satisfactory -productivity data for companies as a complete package reveals that content workers tend to be more efficient and effective than the ones who are not motivated (Chaudhry et al., 2011). Job satisfaction is a determinant of the OCB or organizational citizenship behaviour. Evidence has suggested that workers who are more satisfied with their work are likely to be engaged in OCB and even leads to positive consumer outcomes (Markovits et al., 2010). However, through research, it has been observed that there is an evidential gap in performance level between employees of public sector and employees of private sector (Almintisir, Akeel & Subramaniam, 2012). The gap has been assessed to exist for the low job satisfaction found certain sectors of public organizations. However, this research is limited in terms of its geographical reach. The research exists in very few geographical areas and thus, the fact cannot be stated determinedly as to what is causing this performance gap. This proposal will compare the motivational approach and job satisfaction strategies taken in private organization that makes their performance so high. It can be done through a thorough and elaborated qualitative analysis in the country of UK. As there are no such studies that directly addressed this issue for this nation; this research would explore the performance statistic of the public and private organizations of UK and evaluate the presence of gaps in terms of performance; in doing so, the study would deliver the difference in the approach that has been taken in private organization which makes their employees more satisfied. In order to conduct this research, Secondary data would be included for ensuring that every aspect of the source is covered while making the comparative analysis.
