Assessment Task

Working as a team of 4-5, you are required to create a film clip of 5 minutes duration (suitable for viewing on e.g. Youtube) that explains the potential application of one or more key theories about motivating people in the workplace in a way that might be helpful for someone who has become a line manager for the first time. You should aim to make the film both informative and entertaining, to capture the attention of your potential audience. Your film should conclude with a reference list and a commentary indicating the sources you used to create your film.

You are also required to provide a review of the contributions of your fellow team members to the task following the showing of your film. This may be used to adjust the marks awarded for individuals within the team for the film where appropriate.  

F: Submission Guidance

·Each team will show their film during their seminar class in w/c 20th January.

·Self-certified extensions will not be possible for this assignment.

·Teams are required to upload their film to OneDrive to enable monitoring of the marking of the video by academic staff and the external examiner as required. Instructions to upload the film onto OneDrive are provided on Moodle.

G: Document Format

·Include the following details at the start of your film clip:

Module title and code

Names and student numbers of the members of your team

Module Leader and Seminar Tutor

·At the end of your film clip, include a reference list of the sources you used to develop your film. This should be presented in APA format.
