DATED THIS 30th day OF June 2018 BETWEEN Nisreen Sabir and WBSL (UK) Limited THIS AGREEMENT is made on the 30 th day of June 2018. BETWEEN: WBSL (UK) Limited, of Main Road, Fictionville, Fiction County, F26 5PN (“the Company”) And Mrs Nisreen Sabir of 27 High Road, Fictionville, Fiction County, F60 2BP ("the Contractor") 1. WAGES The position is paid at Gr ade 4 on the Company pay scale and this equates to a salary of £20,000 per annum. Payments are made by monthly arrears and will fall due on th e 5 th working day of the following month. 2. HOURS OF WORK Your hours of work will vary with the requirements of the role. You will be based exclusively within the telesales team. Starting and finish times will be at the discretion of the Company, within the parameters of the normal working day. The working week will be a total of 40 hours. Overtime will be paid after the normal hours have been worked in any one day. You will be required to work reasonable overtime as is deemed necessary to respond to ser vice demand. 3. HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT In a full year, you will be entitled to 25 days annual holiday plus 8 statutory days. 4. SICKNESS ABSENCE If you are unable to attend work for whatever reason, you are required to inform the company as soon as possible on the first day of your absence and an estimate of when you will return to work will be required. The Company operates an absence management policy that will be triggered if you: a) Have 3 or more periods of absence within a 12 -month rolling period; and/or b) 5 days off sick in a 12 -month rolling period. Should the absence management policy be triggered then an absence management meeting will be called, and you will be invited to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to ensure that an opportunity is provided fo r discussion into: a) The reason for absence b) Any reasonable adjustments that could be relevant in ensuring that continued attendance with maintained c) Whether a warning or a dismissal were required, based upon the circumstances of the absence. The absence management policy also includes a right of appeal . 5. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT Du ring the first 3 months of employment, no notice period is required to be given by either party. If you have between 3 months and two years’ service , you are entitled to one w eek’s notice from the company. Two years’ service and over entitles you to one week’s notice from the Company for each complete year of service with a maximum of 12 weeks’ notice . After four weeks employment you are required to give the Company one week’ s notice in writing. Rights to notice do not apply if your employment is terminated by the Company for reasons of gross misconduct. The role is subject to a successful 3-month probationary period. 6. PENSION The company offers a pension scheme and eligibl e employees will be provided with all details at the appropriate time. 7. DISCIPLINARY AND GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES The disciplinary rules applicable to your employment are set out in the Company Employee Handbook, which is available for your inspection in the Personnel Department. The grievance procedure rules applicable to your employment are set out in the Company Employee Handbook, which is available for your inspection in the Personnel Department. If you have any grievance relating to your employment or a ny disciplinary action, you should in the first instance raise them with your immediate supervisor/team leader.
