The different objectives that are developed by students as a part of project or placement design and implementation consists of the following, 1. Identification and analysis of the objectives, tasks and goals, objectives, tasks and the expected results of the projects. 2. The study related to project or placement designing and implementation is mainly aimed at documenting the process which is undertaken for incorporating the project placements as the effective option related to fieldwork for the second and the third-year occupational therapy related students. The experiences of both the supervisors and students are also evaluated by proper identification of the various areas related to improvement. Project placements are considered to be full-time or part-time based placements in which the project is mainly completed by the student under effective management of a particular occupational therapist. This study is thereby considered to be primarily descriptive that includes the pre-post designing activities using quantitative and qualitative data. The results have specified that various objectives that are a part of this study have been accomplished. Both students and the supervisors have thereby voiced their positive views related to the placements. Students have also recognised the changes which have the ability to improve the process of placements. The second and the third-year based students have also given parallel ratings related to parts of different learning experiences which are a part of the project placements. Small unit of the third-year students and low response-based rates from the supervisors can have an influence on the overall results. The project placements are depicted as a major appropriate model for the students in their former years of this particular course in the place of typical practices related to non-traditional factfinding that has been focused on the various students who are in the final year. Various project placements that are described have been mainly presented as a more probable fieldwork-related model within a range which is currently being provided by the worldwide curricula. Future research related activities have to concentrate on a major longitudinal influence of the placements on proper development of the attitudes and practices of the students of occupational therapy. The unit aims at introducing the students to different practices and concepts that are related to development and social and economic change related programmes and projects. The central community participation related activities in sustained development has led to development of the unit that has drawn on the evolving participatory practices that are used by non-profit sector and various other agencies and the governing bodies for engaging the communities. The communities need to be involved within the entire project cycle that includes decision-making, monitoring, evaluation and implementation. The tools related to old-style project management help the social workers in conceiving, planning, designing, implementing, managing, assessing, and changing the projects in an effective manner. On the other hand, the projects are considered to be discrete and time-bound and the programs are the continuing assortment of different projects which can be combined together. Management of the projects and programs in a socially effective and inclusive way essentially needs appealing all the individuals who are involved and influenced by the project in thoughtful and expressive and deliberate manners.
