You must submit an essay with at least 5,000 words in length and no more than 6,000 words. The section of Main Analysis should have at least 2,500 words. The section of Introduction and Conclusion should have no more than 2,500 words.
There is no requirement of format. Write the title with your name and ID in the first page. In addition to the case materials, you are required to find at least 8 references in the report. Please use Harvard style to cite references. Do not copy and paste a long sentence from references. If you want to use them in the report, you should re-write the points in the references using your own words. The report should have an easy structure to follow. Each report should have the following parts:
1. Introduction you describe the case, highlight the points which are important in your view, summarize your report in MANM377: Cases in International Finance and summarize all new questions you want to analyze in your essay. Do not copy and paste your report in MANM377. You should rephrase and summarize your report with 2,500 words to fit the introduction part of this new report with 5,000 words. This may lead to a little high repetition rate by Turnitin. Any repetition rate below 30% is acceptable.
2. Main Analysis : if you pick up any case provided by me, you must address all new 3 questions that I have brought to this case. Your answer to each question will be one subsection in main analysis, summarize each question using a few words, and use these few words as your title for each subsection. However, the questions are not intended to be a complete list of the relevant issues in the case. You are encouraged to find any resources and questions beyond the case materials and the key questions. You are requiredto analyze one point relevant in the case but not listed in the questions provided by the instructor. If you analyze one more relevant point, you will get extra credits for that. All extra points should be related to international finance.
3. Conclusion you conclude the case, briefly summarize your main analysis, and propose your recommendations or suggestions if you have. If you finished one report in MANM377: Cases in International Finance using your own case materials, you are also asked to extend that report.
