Instructions: This assignment is an outline of your proposed inquiry-based science lesson. The purpose of the lesson is to make sure that you are on the right track before you put a lot of time and effort into a lesson plan that will need to be redone. Remember the Elementary Lesson Plan you will be completing in Module 3 must receive a rating of effective or higher to pass this course (page 3). 1-This lesson will be for students in a preK-6 grade. 2-The lesson must cover one of these preselected performance expectations. 3- Make sure the lesson is grade appropriate for the “students” you are preparing the lesson for. 4-Since we are in the summer session, it will NOT be taught or recorded, although I do hope you will be able to use it in your classroom next year. 5- You may look at the lessons in the appendix of the book for ideas.
