What is ecchymosis?

The term ecchymosis refers to a skin disease which is a flat, blue or purple patch measured by 1 centimetre or 1 diameter. This disease is often occurred in the skin with the minimum symptoms like bruising and etching.

Causes of ecchymosis: However this disease occurs when the blood leak from any broken capillary of any surrounding tissue or from the skin. Hence it is the symptom which causes discolouration. As the tissue heals the area in which the ecchymosis has occurred has been turned into purple, blackish, yellow or greenish. However the ecchymosis takes typically between one to three weeks to cure. Thus the areas to resolve the issue will have a different appearances from the brushes and hematomas. In which the blood vessels are swallow and the hematomas appeared in this case have been raised , however the hematomas may be flat in this case. The brushes occurred in this disease will be typically causing any injury such as owing to fall and flat while the ecchymosis will be always resulting any trauma  and hence the diseases and all these condition causes ecchymosis.

What happens to the compressed issue?

The ecchymosis happens due to some capillary breaking to the surrounding tissue or skin cells. Hence the bruises develop when the small blood cells or blood vessels occur under the skin, hence the skin gets teared or ripped off in the case of any bump or fall. Thus the blood leaks from the tissue and which all causes it to be in black or blue colour. Thus within four to six weeks it is expected to be currently including purple black, reddish blue or yellowish green coloured. Sometimes the area which gets affected by this disease spreads down the body in the direction of the gravity and hence the tissue of that part of body gets affected mostly in this case. However a bruise in the leg usually takes a very long time to get cured and hence it is a very damageable area considered with. Mostly the bruises cause for a concern and speed healing is applied for this case. But for severe bruising it is also seen that within the 30 minutes the injury may form a more serious problem as well as include a severe fracture to the sprain.

Treatments to this disease:

In most of the cases the patches of the ecchymosis will be going away with this treatment. Hence a person could reduce the pain or swelling with a cold compress or any over the counter anti-inflammatory drugs which could cause some bigger problems. Now if a person is having any X rays or MRI scan. Thus a doctor may also examine the affected area and take the blood to check a person’s platelet clotting factors. Thus in order to determine the causes under ecchymosis could be essential for developing any biggest treatment related to this disease.
