Task:
Assignment will be focused on international collaborations and global governance of research.
Step 1: Your first step is to choose a research organization from outside of your country.
You must also write a detailed description of the organization, including its location, type of organization (academic, hospital, laboratory, non-profit, etc.), size of organization and primary area(s) of research. Your description of the organization should be 1 paragraph
Step 2: Decide on the organization within your country,
Which you will represent for the purpose of this project. You are the head of research at this institution, and this particular relationship is of great interest to the senior leaders of your research organization. You must also write a detailed description of the organization, including its location, type of organization (academic, hospital, laboratory, non-profit, etc.), size of organization and primary area(s) of research. Your description of the organization should be 1 paragraph.
Step 3:
1.Identify the research organization from outside your country.
2.Identify the research organization you represent and the country where it is located.
Your institutional leaders want this relationship to incorporate not only research collaborations by senior researchers, but also training opportunities for junior researchers. Identify the challenges you may face in dealing with the foreign collaborator with respect to mentor-trainee relationships and authorship issues. Write this as an outline.
