Abnormalityoflivercirrhosis Aliverwithcirrhosisorextremescarringhasseveralabnormalities-portalhypertensioncan occurduetothebuildingupofpressureintheportalveinbecauseofblockageofbloodflow throughtheliver;variceswhichcanbecausedduetoveinenlargementandobstructionof bloodflow(Jakab&Garcia-Tsao,2019);lossofabilitytoproducebloodplasmaproteins, hence,lowerlevelsofitisfoundinblood;jaundiceduetobilirubinbuildupinthebody causedbyunsuccessfuleliminationofthecompound;ascitesduetofluidaccumulationinthe abdominalcavitycausingpainanddiscomfort(Garcia-Tsao,2017);increasedlevelof creatinineanddecreasedlevelofsodium;andhepaticencephalopathyduetounsuccessful ORGANFUNCTIONS2 eliminationofammonia,thattravelstothebraincausingdisorientationandconfusion (Butterworth,2019).
