Reflective Essay “Think about a time when you engaged with information or knowledge in a way that involved not only your mind but also your own story, or your senses, emotions, and/or imagination (see the ideas about personal and multidimensional information literacy in this lesson). What did you learn? How did you learn? How did this differ from some of the learning you have done in school? How might you seek out other opportunities for this kind of learning? If you cannot think of such a time, you could try an activity that prompts this sort of exploration (e.g., going hiking or camping, visiting an aquarium or museum, playing a sport, going to a concert or an art show, etc.).
