It is expected in your philosophy paper that you address your personal style of learning. Complete two online assessment tools to identify your preferred learning style. Discuss the results of the assessment tool (include the results of each style) reference the tools and place the completed tools as an appendix to the paper. You may expand to reflect on how you have worked within the identified style throughout your learning. What does the literature indicate about working with multiple learning styles? Consider your learning style and the impact this has on your teaching style; if you are a visual learner do you predominantly teach using this style? Consider the impact of a learner who utilizes an alternate style than your own; how do you or will you manage this? Include a discussion of related theory (with reference) to support your explanation.

Professional Teaching Philosophy
A clear statement of your professional teaching philosophy should be outlined for the reader.
For example:
As a teacher, I value each student and their previous knowledge and experience. Transfer of knowledge using all learning styles is imperative to reach my audience (Reference). I closely resonate with the social cognitivism theory which supports past knowledge that can be expanded upon and modeled through each new learning experience (Reference). I believe that each individual must be willing and motivated to learn to gain the most from the educational session and I as the teacher must come prepared to share my knowledge in a positive environment.
Theoretical Underpinnings
Review each of the primary learning theories (for example: behaviourism, cognitivism, social constructivism) and select the theory that best supports your personal philosophy; consider the strengths and limitations of the theory. Identify the key concepts of the theory and integrate this theory into your own personal philosophy using the literature to support your beliefs.
Example of Values and Beliefs of Teaching and Learning
Describe a specific example of teaching (for example: Type II diabetes) that demonstrates your philosophy of teaching and learning. Ensure that this narrative teaching moment is clearly tied to your values and beliefs of teaching and learning and linked to learning theory or model of learning (with reference).

Please review the information in Unit One, Two and Three and integrate these concepts into the paper demonstrating and providing depth of your understanding of the Unit concepts.

Assignment two and three are linked; the objectives presented in assignment two are then implemented along with teaching strategies in assignment three.
Objectives
Select one case study and develop one learner centered objective for each domain of learning: cognitive, affective and psychomotor.
The objectives are written using terminology (keywords or verbs) from Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy and are identified using “Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-limited” (SMART) guidelines. Provide Rationale for the Objective
Review Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy on levels of learning for the domain; review the pyramid of learning and corresponding keywords for the level of learning to be achieved. Provide a discussion of the level (for the cognitive domain: remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, creating) of learning that hoped to be achieved in the objective.
In the example of the objectives from Unit Five the category (level) of learning that will be achieved for these objectives falls into the remembering and understanding category of the cognitive domain; keywords (verb) utilizing the verb “explain” and “describe”. Upon completion of Unit Five, the learner can “describe” the learned information and “state” the learned information in their own words (Clark, 2015b).
