Select any 10 of the terms above and perform your “identify and state the significance” activity with it. Please write four supporting facts that identify (2 marks) and one overarching reason why this person was significant.
Part B – Museum proposal
A new museum is opening in a Canadian city of your choosing. Create a short (100 words) explanation of one exhibit that will highlight a person, event, idea, place, etc that relates to local history. Provide as much detail as you can about what items you would have in the exhibit and equally why it is important to feature these pieces. Remember, since this is broader than historical documents (think written text), consider audio, visual, artifacts, etc. Given the current coronavirus outbreak, consider what other museums offer. Part C – New Designs
Imagine that the Canadian Government is going to replace the fifty-dollar bill. You are on a committee to suggest a replacement that must change at least four attributes of the bill. What is more important than changing each element is, instead, justifying it.
