PSYC 2321 Developmental Psychology Adolescence

Papers will be marked primarily on your ability to summarize the relevant information in a clear, organized fashion.

 

Remember, you are describing the research to some one who has not read the article. Papers must be a maximum of 3 pages, word processed lease be sure to answer these questions in your summary:

 

1. What is the purpose of the study? Any specific hypotheses? Who were the participants? What were the methods used in the study? Were the hypotheses supported?

 

2. What still needs to be done in this area of research? Papers should not include quotes, You must do the writing by paraphrasing what they are saying and using a citation as needed. Papers should be able to be read and understood by someone who has not read the original article. No tables or graphs should be included in your paper. No title pages Papers must not plagiarize from the original article or anywhere else.

 

Citations and reference(s) should be in APA format, and if you use a secondary source in your paper, you must indicate this correctly. Cite your study as often as you feel the reader needs to be reminded of which study you are discussing. You might have extra citations due to secondary sources but there should be only one reference.
