Written Assignment Part 2 has two components: (1) outline and (2) annotated bibliography: (1) The OUTLINE is a kind of detailed table of contents that provides us with a snapshot of your proposed critical commentary (the final written assignment). Your outline can be written in point form, must not exceed two-pages double-spaced, and should include the following: • A short title: attention-grabbing title for your proposed paper that emphasizes your key message. • The proposed paper’s thesis statement or core argument - in bold font please. • A few points describing the likely content in each of the required sections of your paper. Refer to the instructions for the critical commentary below for a list of the required sections that your outline must describe. • We don’t expect the outline to be a perfect or complete summary of your paper. Just try to nail down the basics. • It is best to complete your research and reading before you begin work on your outline. • It is not possible to write the outline without carefully reviewing the instructions for the final paper below (2) The accompanying ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY must include annotations for FIVE articles. All five must be peer-reviewed scholarly articles. Annotations Briefly summarize the source: What is the main argument or idea? What model, lens or discipline does it rely on? What conclusions does it draw? • Briefly describe the significance of the source and how it relates to your proposed paper. Please include a title page with your name, student number, course code and date. Please also follow correct APA referencing for in-text citations and reference list
