Impact of Global Financial Crisis on International Pricing Strategy of Starbucks

Various issues have been highlighted while ascertaining the financial operation in the economy. Implementation of certain strategies in the economy of international and domestic corporate sector influences the functions of the business of companies who are dealing with certain business proposals. Therefore, the major strategy that is affected is the pricing strategy that is affected due to various reasons. The differences in the currency of different countries are the main issue faced globally. Furthermore, the current research will be highlighting upon the affect in the pricing strategy of Starbucks. As Starbucks is dealing with coffee outlets and is an American company based in Seattle, Washington has been operating its coffee house in other countries as well. Therefore, the international competition has been also another cause that has lead to financial issues in the strategy of pricing adopted by Starbucks. It has also affected the business and its profitability as the company was already facing the value differences issues due to variable currencies.

The research questions highlighting the outline of the research are:

• What are the causes of the issues for global financial crisis?
