The current dissertation deals with analysis on the relationship between organizational leanings and competency of the firm. The study will be based on both primary and secondary data analysis. Primarily the research aims at assessing the organizational learning approaches in different companies. The dissertation also includes the discussion on processes of developing competency in organizations. On basis of the findings of secondary data analysis, correlation between organizational learning and firm competency development will be assessed. However the assessment will also be based on analysis of primary data. The primary data will be collected using qualitative and quantitative approach. The approaches used by ASDA management for organizational leaning and firm competency development will be assessed as part of primary data analysis. The qualitative data will be collected by conducting interviews of the managers. The interviews will focus on identification of the techniques used by management for organizational learning. Effects of organizational learning will also be assessed using findings of qualitative data analysis. Quantitative data will also be collected by conducting surveys among staffs of ASDA. Findings of quantitative data analysis will be effective to identify benefits obtained by staffs due to use of organizational learning processes.
