Recruitment and selection are the most important parts of human resource management. Recruitment is process where the organization tries to source suitable candidate in order to fill the vacancies of the organization (Pathak, 2015). Recruitment process attracts suitable candidates from various sources towards the organization. Proper recruitment process helps an organization to create a pool of qualified and able candidate for the vacant position (Ulewicz, 2015). As this the entry point of any employee to the organization, this process is designed in such a way so that the employee can adjust themselves with the culture of the organization. Selection is a process where right people are chosen for right position in order to increase the productivity of an organization (Krinitcyna and Menshikova, 2015). There is positive relation among the recruitment, selection and organizational performance. Selection process helps to identify the best candidate who can give their best performance towards achieving the organizational goal. Proper recruitment and selection process help an organization to reduce turnover rate and absenteeism (Su and Yang, 2015). This is a serious process for any organization as the success of the organization depends on delivery of quality product and services, which are done by qualified and able workforce selected through proper recruitment and selection process.
