1. Background of the research
The working parents have a problem in balancing their work and life, especially the upbringing of children. The problem has been studied by the experts for long to co-relate the kind of problems those the work life balance in maintaining a good child care has to face in parenting. The working conditions, lifestyle and the commitments have changed the 8hours shift of work for most of the professionals. The international business or working in them means receiving calls in the odd hours which may be the working time for another country in some other Global location. Thus the balance of parenting that involves child care and managing has been effected. The report aims to understand the kind of pressures that the parents are facing and get a suitable answer to the problem. The emerging issues would be detailed to find a solution for the same in the long run, which would be jotted as recommendations. The health care profession is being selected for the same cause to study the difference in needed versus the applied care while parenting them (Miller and Harwood, 2002).
2. Aims and Objectives of the research
The objective of the research is to identify the areas of concern, the professions which pose the threat, the most, the identification of stresses that it leads to etc. The impact of the same in raising the children is another which is also been locked into from a parenting perspective.
- To have a comprehensive knowledge of the changing work life balance among the people.
- Have a measure of how much constrain the work life balance of modern day professionals has to face
- To access the need for work life balance among the people of the modern day profession and thus the effects of the same on parenting
- To evaluate how this can be mitigated to secure a balanced approach among working population to face such a challenge
- Evaluate the impact of the same on the children where the working parents may cause in the upbringing of the children
- To have an idea of how children are being affected and recommend ways to mitigate the children’s loss of parental advice in such a case.
- To have an impact study on the parents from the professional health care industry to check the same and give the growing children their best care.
3. Research and Hypothesis Questions
The research is been conducted to find out the difference of working parents with their children’s development from a parenting point of view. The pertaining questions and hypothesis for the research are as follows:
Hypothesis 1: The changing world is giving the working arenas a tough time in keeping up with their commitments as parents.
Hypothesis 1 A: The changing working conditions in each sector are posing the greatest of all problems in having time for the children care
Hypothesis 1 B: The time spent on the job is taking away the time for child care and development from them away
Hypothesis 2: The time for child development is being challenged by the changing jo demands in the sphere of International business working class
Hypothesis 2 A; The working time is been hampered with the advent of new market venture for most of the business where the parents work
Hypothesis 2 B: The work pressure is increasing and so is the working time being extended due to global presence with various timelines
Hypothesis 3: The working class needs to balance the same by making strict planning and mailing hours so as to keep time for parenting and childcare.
Hypothesis 3A: The need for the working class with children has to make the team aware about their commitments back home
Hypothesis 3 B: Identifying the ways in which the working parents can balance the work life as well as children developments in the modern day business management scenario.
4. Literature Review
The working conditions and application of job role has dramatically changed in the modern day business management scenario. The role of parenting too has changed with the introduction of both parents in the role. The working hours for the modern day parents are facing a great challenge in overcoming the job strains and maintaining the healthy living with the job at hand (Lee and Rempel, 2011).
The need for parenting is often getting hampered by the international nature of business activity where the parent has to strive to achieve the best of the execution while keep complains of child upbringing lower.
5. Research Methodology
The research shall be quality driven where the answers to the challenged faced by the working parents shall be gathered from various literature sources and the answers to such questions where qualitative gaps are being answered. The quantitative answers from the working parents shall be taken to interpret the difficulties they face. Based upon the two findings the effective stance of what problems they face are answered with descriptive form shall be elaborated in the job to get a clearer answer to the problem and recommend solutions.
