ACTIVITY 1 Next week, I will be assigning the Essay Assignment 15%. You will be asked to write a comparison and/or contrast essay that focuses two of the following readings: Tristan Harris' "How a handful of tech companies control billions of minds everyday" Sherry Turkle's "Connected, but alone?" Brandon Ambrosino's "Don't take a picture. It'll last longer" Note: The two readings you choose for this assignment will be based on which TedTalk you did not use in your infographic assignment. So, if you chose Tristan Harris' TedTalk for the Infographic, you will be comparing Sherry Turkle's TedTalk with Brandon Ambrosino's essay for the comparison essay and vice versa. Pay special attention to: Activity 2 in the Purpose, Audience and Tone Module (to be posted in the Discussion Board). Writing Portfolio Activity: You should think of this activity as an example of pre-writing as outlined in the Purpose, Audience and Tone module. Note: These two activities are the only submissions required from you for week 6, and will be included in your Discussion Board/Writing Portfolio evaluation.  ACTIVITY 2 In two to four sentences, practice introducing yourself to three different audiences.
