For this assignment, using a personal or professional conflict, you will be required to analyze the following: Cycle of Conflict Stages of Conflict Escalation The assignment must be based on a conflict. If you do not have a conflict, you may provide a fictional conflict. Assignment Structure You will be required to write a minimum of three pages (double-spaced and typed) which are structured using the following sections. Situation: Information to include: What is the conflict about? Who are the key players? What happened? For an example of the type of information to include in this section, please refer to lesson 6 (Case Studies). Conflict Cycle: Questions to consider: What are the stages of the conflict? Provide examples that demonstrate that. Conflict Escalation: Questions to consider: What are signs and symptoms of conflict escalation? What is the escalation stage? How do you know, please provide examples from your conflict? What were the key factors that led to the escalation in your view? Format This assignment should be approximately 3 – 6 pages. Please ensure that it is double-spaced, 11-12 point font.
